Dikenga is a space that encourages self-expression and nurtures creativity through the embodiment of our cyclical nature.

About Dikenga

In KiKongo, Dikenga means 'the turning' and symbolizes the Kongo cosmogram.

This cosmogram is a simplified spiral that mirrors the very pattern of the life process. The Kongo people believed that, much like the sun, every individual or community follows a trajectory akin to the sun’s movement throughout the day.

Through this spiral, they convey deep teachings about the cycles of life and the celestial origin of humanity.

Dikenga is the Kongo cosmogram, core symbole of Kongo religion.

This space is grounded in teachings and aims to provide a space for self-expression and co-creation, empowering individuals to reclaim sovereignty over their bodies and lives.

The vision is to create an environment that nurtures the conditions for unity and peace to flourish, both within individuals and within the larger community, ultimately promoting collective well-being.

“I understood that to heal, I had to give the pain a voice, so I could truly listen and start processing my feelings. I heard the pain of being a woman, the pain of my mother, and the pain of my ancestors.”

About Corinne

Hey, I am Corinne - an artist and transformational coach, deeply passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves. In a world that often feels disconnected, I believe that reclaiming our humanity and creative expression is one of the most powerful acts of self-love we can offer ourselves.

Dikenga was born from my personal journey with endometriosis. To this day, there's no cure for this crippling disease, which leaves so many women suffering in silence or, facing invasive surgeries. I became fixated on finding relief from the pain in my body, and my intuition led me to envision four music projects. Each one representing a season in my healing journey.

I understood that to heal, I had to give the pain a voice, so I could truly listen and start processing my feelings. I heard the pain of being a woman, the pain of my mother, and the pain of my ancestors. Though heartbreaking, it deepened my connection with my body, the women around me, and my lineage.

I came to understand I was on a journey of rebirth, letting go of the conditioning and stories that made me believe I wasn’t powerful, cycle after cycle. Through it all, I learned to fall in love with life again—embracing the beauty and tragedy of being human: the emotions, doubts, struggles, but also the courage, resilience, and inner power.

With Dikenga, I help women feel at home in their bodies by reconnecting with parts of themselves that were once repressed. Through active imagination and sound, we’ll establish a direct dialogue with your emotional body, allowing it to express itself freely. From this place of aliveness, you’ll rediscover creativity in a whole new way and embrace your truest essence.
